With the overwhelming share of validator nodes on the Ethereum network being located in North America and Western Europe, which only serves to undermine Ethereum's aspiration to be a credibly neutral global network.
We are interested in proposals that help us to understand how PBS can be designed in order to mitigate against latency optimization among builders and validators that drives geographical centralization. Are there ways to smooth out the advantages that are gained by minimal latency, in order to democratize geographical access to block building? Are there economic, game-theoretic solutions that can help to reduce latency advantages? What part can relays play?
